Personal Data Protection Act 2012
The Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) was passed in Parliament on 15 October 2012. PDPA starts on 2nd January 2013 and is expected to be enforced after a transition period of 18 months in mid-2014. The DO-NOT-CALL Register is expected to be ready after 12 months in early-2014.

DO NOT CALL REGISTER (DNC Registry)
This part applies to sms messages sent to Singapore mobile numbers. No sms can be sent to any mobile numbers listed in the DO-NOT-CALL REGISTER. The law will be enforced in early-2014.
No worries for replyx users because our sms servers will take care of the submitting/excluding of recipient mobile numbers to/from the DNC Registry.
COLLECTION, USE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA
Consent required & Notification of purpose
replyx users shall not, on or after 2nd January 2013, collect, use or disclose personal data unless the individual gives (or is deemed to give) his consent.
replyx users must inform the individual on the purposes for the collection, use or disclosure of the personal data on or before collecting it.
Withdrawal of consent
An individual can withdraw any consent given at any time.
Existing Personal Data
replyx users may use personal data collected before the 2nd January 2013 for the purposes for which the data was collected.
